The Dream

I see her. She’s climbed up on the kitchen counter, watching me like a predator does with its prey. She’s quiet and still. I ignore her, and open the fridge to get my apple juice. I pick up a glass from the cupboards, pour the brownish liquid in it, and sit at the table sipping my drink. I look at her again, her long arms dangling in front of her body, almost touching the floor. She has pitch-black eyes, but all monsters do, haven’t they? They’re so dark I can’t even tell if she has pupils or not.

A collection of psychological horror stories that dab into trauma, fear of the unknown, grief, loss of a loved one, and trauma. Which one will be your favourite?

Reader Reviews

"An interesting set of short stories I enjoyed this book! The author has both talent and imagination. Some stories charm more than others, but these will undoubtedly be different than all. 'The Message' was my favourite because it was clever, but 'Tandem' had something special about it."
